Our Mission

The East Lyme Giving Garden’s mission is to decrease local food insecurity by growing and providing organic produce using regenerative gardening methods. We also strive to bring awareness to the community on nutritional concepts and environmentally sound regenerative practices through education programs and outreach.

Interested in Becoming a Volunteer?

We regularly hold volunteer work days – come join us in the garden! Times can vary depending on the weather, so emails are sent out at the beginning of each week with the schedule.

We are gratefully accepting donations through PayPal. 100% of all donations go towards growing food and educating our community. Your gift is fully tax deductible.

Thank you to our many sponsors and supporters for everything they’ve contributed toward our mission! To date we’ve had over 60 individual volunteers and half a dozen groups volunteer in the garden.
